上海浦东丽思卡尔顿酒店任命克里斯先生为酒店行政总厨

出生于法国的克里斯托弗·吉里诺正式加入上海浦东丽思卡尔顿酒店担任酒店行政总厨。克里斯将率领酒店厨师精英团队继续缔造烹饪艺术共同创造新的辉煌。

French-born Christophe Gillino is joining The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong as Executive Chef and is poised to lead the culinary efforts of this iconic hotel to new heights.

克里斯早在13岁时就决心投身于厨师行业。在随后几年的学习生涯中,他一直在欧洲各地的著名餐厅钻研烹饪技艺,包括米其林三星餐厅,La Tour d’Argent, Lucas Carton 及 Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse。然而在其而立之年,作为克里斯先生职业生涯中的里程碑,他开始担任行政总厨并掌管位于其家乡普罗旺斯的著名餐厅Chateau de la Pioline。克里斯先生在加入上海浦东丽思卡尔顿酒店之前,也曾担任位于摩洛哥,葡萄牙,埃及及印度许多家著名酒店的行政总厨,并在其期间充分展现了其拥有艺术家天赋的创造力及想象力。在阿布扎比Rotana海滩酒店任职期间同时管理超过17家餐厅,创下统领150位厨师的惊人纪录。

Chef Chris resolved to dedicate himself to the culinary profession when he was only 13 years old. He continued to hone his craft in kitchens across Europe, including the Michelin three-star restaurants, La Tour d’Argent, Lucas Carton and Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse. Heading Chateau de la Pioline as Executive Chef in his hometown, Aix-en-Provence, at the young age of 30 was a milestone in his career, and the talented artisan later expanded his culinary experience in Morocco, Portugal, Egypt and India. Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong, Chef Chris was in charge of 17 restaurants at the Beach Rotana Complex in Abu Dhabi.

“Quality is always an unwavering goal of mine. I have the passion to innovate and pursue modernity in my creations, but it has to be supported by a solid foundation of knowledge. I’m excited to learn from my talented team, and to continue to create memorable experiences for our customers from around the world. These are exciting times to be in Shanghai, and I am honored to have this opportunity to grow in my career,” said Chef Chris. His creativity and first-class culinary skills have brought him international recognition, and he has cooked for the Royal Family and a string of international celebrities.

对于拥有近30年从业经验的资深总厨,来到上海并加入上海浦东丽思卡尔顿酒店对克里斯来说又是一个职业生涯中的新挑战。“我一直期待着体验中国的中心。上海是一座国际化的城市,在这座城市可以深深体验感受魔都独有的海派文化。我相信这是我表达自己经历和愿景的地方。” 克里斯先生说。

Bringing 30 years of experience with him, Chef Chris envisions a rewarding challenge in his new endeavor with The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong. “I have always looked forward to experiencing the heart of China. Shanghai is a cosmopolitan city where deeply rooted Chinese culture is fused with Western influences. I’m sure this is the place for me to express myself, my experience and my aspirations.”

上海浦东丽思卡尔顿酒店总经理何恩儒先生任命克里斯先生时称赞道,“我们很荣幸能邀请到克里斯先生加入我们酒店,为我们的客人创造难忘的用餐体验。克里斯先生拥有非常丰富的从业经验,他曾为超过20家五星级酒店主持开创一些列的新餐厅,更难能可贵的是制定至高的烹饪标准和科学的管理培训体系。克里斯先生加入后,不仅会把之前的各项成功注入上海浦东丽思卡尔顿酒店,而且将以其极大的热情,专业知识和成熟的管理经验把酒店的烹饪水平提升到更高的境界。”

Mr. Andrew Houghton, General Manager of the hotel, said, “We are honored to have Chris join us to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. With a wealth of experience across the board—from launching new restaurants for more than 20 hotels to upholding the highest culinary standards—Chef Chris will instill a passion for creative vision, professionalism and the highest levels of skill and expertise in our culinary team.” 

作为酒店的行政总厨, 克里斯先生将会带领一个由100多名厨师组成的烹饪团队,负责监督管理酒店四家餐厅和宴会厨房的日常运作。酒店提供多样化的美食体验并开设了四家餐厅以满足宾客们不同的需求,金轩——米其林一星精品粤餐厅;意味轩——屡获殊荣,提供正宗的意大利美食;Aura大堂酒廊及爵士吧——城中社交聚会及备受亲睐的下午茶胜地;Flair——目前中国最高的屋顶露台餐厅酒吧。

In his new role, Chef Chris will be leading a culinary team of more than 100 chefs, overseeing the daily operations of kitchens for the hotel’s four restaurants and banquet facilities. Celebrated for its diverse culinary spectrum, The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong is home to Jin Xuan, the Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant; the award-winning Scena, serving authentic Italian favorites; Aura, the much-coveted spot for social gatherings and afternoon tea; and Flair, the highest rooftop restaurant and bar in China.

克里斯先生有两个女儿和一个儿子,摄影,创作音乐也是他生活中不可或缺的一部分。

A father of two daughters and one son, Chef Chris enjoys photography, and playing and composing music despite his busy schedule.
